Nashville-area brides, if you’re wondering how much wedding flowers cost, you’re in the right place! In this post, we’re covering how pricing floral design works, listing our average pricing, and sharing an example of what two different price points look like.
Before we go into our design prices and how much wedding flowers cost, let’s talk about how we (and most florists) price out the majority of our floral designs. We use a formula based on the “industry standard pricing” model, and it includes the cost of flowers, vases, materials, and labor.
The wedding flower pricing formula: wholesale flower cost x 4.5 = client’s total
This is a base-level look into how we price out a design, and this formula can be adjusted based on the complexity of the design. There are so many variables that influence the final total like:
Before we send you your itemized floral quote and proposal, we take each of these factors into careful consideration. Note that we allow changes to be made all the way up until eight weeks before your wedding date, so you’re not stuck with your initial choices!
Floral abundance is something we talk about frequently, so here are four examples illustrating what lower versus higher abundance looks like:
Statement designs like ceremony features, grounded floral designs, large urns, or hanging installations are the best way to transform your venue and showcase your beautifully curated aesthetic. These impactful floral designs will appear in your main photos, transform your venue, and leave a lasting impression on you and your guests!
Usually, statement designs have a higher level of floral abundance. While an increased level of floral abundance equates to a higher price point per design, it also means an increased visual impact on the space. The wonderful thing about statement designs is because they’re so impactful, you don’t have to have several.
An example of how this could apply at your wedding is instead of having 100 bud vases for the reception tables ($2,000 – $2,500), you could allocate the same amount of your floral budget to a suspended floral installation over the bridal party table.
Almost every time, a design that really catches the eye is preferred over “little pops of flowers everywhere.” We always focus on what will make the best, most intentional impact while staying within your wedding floral budget.
To give you an idea of our average pricing, here’s an overview of the range of price points for different floral designs. Pricing will vary depending on your specific floral needs, priorities, and the abundance of each design.
The pricing below excludes delivery and installation which will be priced depending on the logistics and location of your event.

Each floral quote and proposal looks different for every couple– even if two couples have the same wedding flower budget.
Take these two different price points below as an example:
$7,000:
$15,000:
They seem to be the same items, but they’re quite different in terms of cost and scope of design. Here are a few differences between these two hypothetical budgets:
The $7,000 budget focuses on a beautiful ceremony feature that can be repurposed at the reception, smaller bridesmaid bouquets, smaller table compotes, and a large bridal bouquet with premium blooms.
The $15,000 budget has an increase in high-end flowers like roses, orchids, and peonies. It also includes a larger ceremony feature and a more abundant, statement-making bar arrangement.
There are truly endless possibilities for every price point, so to find out what will work best for your unique wedding, inquire with us about your date! For more examples of potential floral design items you could include based on your floral budget, take a look at our pricing information.
